Real Madrid in 2024/2025: The latest transfer rumours and arrivals

11/04/2024

Real Madrid has been the biggest football club in the world for decades and every other team is playing catch to them.

Los Blancos do not play in the Premier League, which is arguably the biggest competition in the world, but they have held their own as the world’s top team.

Over the years, they have dominated the Champions League and other top club competitions in Europe and in the world.

Madrid has been the home to some of the best football talents we have ever known with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Raul Gonzalez, Luis Figo, Ronaldo de Lima, David Beckham, among others, wearing their all-white shirt at some point in their careers.

Florentino Perez has done an amazing job of keeping them at the top of the European football pyramid by signing some world class players.

His leadership has made Madrid the dream club for every player in the world, and this makes it easy for them to sign anyone they want.

People often say nobody says no to Madrid, and it is true because it is difficult to see a player who can boast of turning them down.

In the last few transfer windows, Madrid has been signing youngsters as they begin to build a very good team for the future.

Carlo Ancelotti has been handed a new deal and this means he gets to coach some of the top players of the future beginning from next season.

Madrid has already secured the signature of Brazilian wonderkid Endrick and he will move to the club at the beginning of next term.

Los Blancos will not stop with that recruitment and are have been linked with a move for several other top players ahead of the end of the season, most of whom are youngsters.

In this article, we look at the juicy transfer news involving Madrid ahead of the summer transfer window as we anticipate several new players to join them in the summer.

Leny Yoro, 18, Lille

One of the finest gems in French football now is Yoro, as he breaks through at Lille this campaign.

At 18, the Frenchman is already a regular for the Lille team which is looking to make it back to the top of French football.

He has been at Lille since 2017 and already plays for the France U23 team which shows how highly rated he is in his country.

Madrid signed Raphael Varane as a young defender fro France and repeated the trick with Edouardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni, and they might be teammates with Yoro next term.

Lille will not stand in his way if he wants to leave, and moving to Madrid at this age means he could have a colourfully long career in Spain.

Franco Mastantuono, 16, River Plate

Another teenager who has been linked with a move to Madrid in the last few weeks is River Plate’s Mastantuono.

At 16, he still won’t move to Europe for two more seasons, but that is not a problem for Madrid who signed Endrick at that age and allowed him to develop further for two years before moving to the Bernabeu.

Reports in Spain claims they want to sign the teenager as soon as possible and that means they could seal a deal for him in the coming weeks.

Mastantuono has already played nine games for the River Plate first team this term, which is remarkable and means he is in line to play many games for them before the year ends.

Madrid has followed him for a while and this summer could be the time he joins them, even if he must wait to turn 18 before moving to Spain.

Alphonso Davies, 23, Bayern Munich

Davies’ future is up in the air and Bayern Munich is likely to sell the Canadian in the summer as his contract expires in 2025.

Davies has enjoyed life in Germany since he moved to Bayern in 2018, but this could be his last term in the Bundesliga.

Although he seems to have been around for a long time after his starring role in Bayern winning the Champions League, Club World Cup and Super Cup in 2020, but the left back is still just 23.

Madrid is the club making him not agree to a new deal at Bayern Munich, and he is expected to join the Whites in the summer.

Every player that Madrid wants to sign is a superstar, but Davies will likely be their most exciting target ahead of the next transfer window.

The speedster’s highlight reel is filled with magical moments of him bursting down the left channel and creating chances for teammates with ease, which will delight Real Madrid tickets buyers.

It will be great to see him in a Madrid shirt, and it is hard to see anything stopping that from happening in the summer unless Bayern wants him to run down his deal in 2025.

Nacho, 34

Nacho has been one of the most important players at Real Madrid in recent history, but this might be his last season at the club.

The centre-back is already 34 and signed just a one-year extension at the beginning of the term to remain loyal to the club.

The one-club man does not look like he needs to retire, but the biggest question about his future is whether he wants to play for another club apart from Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti has used him in at least 20 league games this term as Madrid deals with absentees like Eder Militao and David Alaba.

However, if those two were fit for the rest of the term, there is a good chance that Nacho would hardly have had game time.

He now has to decide if he wants to keep playing, with Madrid expected to hand him an extension if he wants to remain in the group.

Kylian Mbappe, 25, PSG

Perhaps the biggest transfer story we all look forward to in the summer is Madrid’s move for Mbappe.

The Frenchman is looking to leave PSG and everyone knows his heart is only at Madrid. It is just a matter of time before the transfer is confirmed.

Mbappe is arguably the world’s best attacker and wants to join Madrid to win some major trophies and strengthen his chance of winning the Ballon d’Or.

In Madrid, he will get a chance to compete with the best players on the globe and that will make it easier for him to win the Champions League and other team trophies that have evaded him so far.

But does Real Madrid need the Frenchman? That question will be answered when he begins to play for them.

Rafa Marín, 21

Madrid sent Marin on loan to Alaves at the beginning of this season and the defender has been in fantastic form at his temporary home.

Marin is one of the finest youngsters on Madrid’s books and there was little doubt that he is good enough to play at Alaves.

He already has almost 30 league appearances for them this term and will return to Madrid as a much better player than he is now.

Los Blancos have been linked with a move for different defenders and having him back in the squad in the summer could save the club some money.

The transfer market is inflated now, so if Martin impresses in pre-season, we expect Los Blancos to count on him next term.

Endrick, 17

After Mbappe, the other top player we expect at Madrid in the summer is Endrick and he excited Madrid supporters at the last international break when he scored in Spain for Brazil.

The wonderkid is joining Los Blancos in the summer when he clocks 18 and signing him already looks like the best piece of business Madrid has done in a while.

We can write an entire article about Endrick and how much Madrid fans and players look forward to having him in their group, but we all hope he stays focused and lives up to expectations at the Bernabeu.

Madrid will be busy in the next transfer window and it will be interesting to see which other players will join those on this list and move to the club.
